For your convenience, Heritage Trust has recently added a new card control feature to Online Banking. Now, you can disable or re-enable debit cards that have been lost or stolen. You also have the option to order a new card.
To edit your card settings:
1. Simply log in to Online Banking and click on the Profile tab.
2. Then, select Card Services from the top tool bar.
From here, you can choose to Block or Freeze your debit card. When you Block your card, card activity is suspended until the block is removed. If you Freeze your debit card, your card will be permanently deactivated. With this selection, you also have the option to reorder a new debit card.
If you choose to reorder, the request for a new debit card is automatically processed and you will receive a new card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days. If you prefer to reorder your card at a later time, visit any Heritage Trust branch location or contact our local Call Center at (843) 832-2600.
Important: Any outstanding or recurring payments associated with the card you disable or mark as lost WILL NOT be processed. You will need to contact the merchant/vendor or company to make other payment arrangements until you receive your new card.
